Netpbm does not install as most public domain software packages do. Trying to update it to a later version played havoc with my install scripts (which I failed to notice) and the result was a very broken i-Package that some have installed. It will do that carefully. All the Makefiles will only be removed if they contain netpbm stuff. So, this will not remove your own Makefile from /usr/ local if you happen to have one. G
