That gives me the possibility to add that 10.4.6 has more problems and 
that the QuickTime 7.1 update may be involved in the problems too. I am 
currently spending time in rearranging my disk of my intel iMac to see 
if I can test a lot of combinations to see if I can find a safe one.

In the meantime, let's hope Apple fixes things.
